On October 28, at the office of Technical World Group (TWG), the kick-off program of “Supplying, editing and transferring the source code of HIS (Hospital Management System) was performed. There was the participation of SHPT - A provider of hospital management software and a team of senior professional advisors and functional departments of the Healthcare segment (TWG healthcare).
HIS (Hospital Information System) is a management software system for all medical examinations and treatment activities in hospital, which synchronized according to the HL7 standard, and international standard providing protocols for information management. HIS is like a heart of the hospital management system, bringing optimization in executive management, treatment, research and training, statistics, forecasting, and prevention. The implementation of HIS for the TWG healthcare system will bring many benefits to patients and hospital, such as shortening time and improving the quality of examination. Besides, the application of HIS software also helps the management of medical examination and treatment more closely and accurately, especially in the management of hospital fees and pharmaceuticals as well as the inspection and settlement of health insurance.
Through the program, the TWG healthcare team has agreed on the goals, scope of system functions and clearly stated the key roles, responsibilities for implementation, as well as a review of lessons learned from the experience of other hospital models.
